Dogs and Saint Martins

Alexander McQueen's Will was made public yesterday and his final wishes may help support young designers far in to the future. He left the majority of his estate in a trust for his Sarabande charity, and asked it to consider using this money to fund bursaries or grants for students at Central Saint Martins. He was such an amazing talented Designer and now he is helping other young designers who want to follow in his career footsteps do that.
He also left £100,000 to animal charities The Blue Cross and Battersea Dogs and Cats Home. I LOVE animals and I think this shows how much he loved them too, and also how thoughtful he was.
Reading his will made me love McQueen even more, and even though over a year has past his creations still live on R.I.P

Celine Resort 2012

Woooooah, it has been that long that I haven't done a blog post I feel as though I actually don't have a clue what I am doing! Silly me. Anyway, I have so much I want to talk about and I don't know why I haven't updated in so long.

The resort 2012 collection from Celine is amazing. I love the colours, the all over florals, the florals with the white, the quirky layering, the shoes and accessories and of course my favorite thing about this collection is the spin on the masculine feminine trend. The trend that I am in love with at the moment. Phoebe Philo has done an amazing job and recently being awarded 'International Design of the Year' by the CFDA I should like to think so. She is one of my favorite designers and makes me proud to be British.
